The Open Forum Club formed in the fall of 1903 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The club held its first meeting in September or October of 1903 at the Lincoln Hotel. The intent of the club was to meet occasionally to discuss “matters of public interest.” Initially, the club was only open to men. SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of one box of records relating to the Open Forum Club of Lincoln, Nebraska. The bulk of the collection dates from the 1960s to the early 1990s. Included in the collection are minutes of meetings, membership lists, correspondence, etc. The collection is currently unprocessed.
