This collection contains photocopies of selected pages from a 1997 autobiography of Leonard J. “Trixe” Stransky, including papers and clippings relating to his donations to the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department, the University of Nebraska, and the Capital Humane Society in 1994. Also includes papers, clippings and photocopies of photographs relating to his military service from 1943-1946, his involvement in the American Legion Lincoln Post No. 3 Drum and Bugle Corps, and his Lincoln grocery business, “Trixes IGA Foodliner,” which he operated from 1938-1974.
