SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE



This collection consists of one reel of microfilm containing six volumes of church records arranged in three series: 1) Minutes of the congregation, 1882-1944; 2) Minutes of the Luther League (Young Peoples’ Society), 1888-1912; and 3) Minutes of the church board, 1907-1928. The material in this collection relates to the activities of the Fridhem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Funk, Phelps County, Nebraska. The bulk of these records are written in the Swedish language. These church records were loaned for microfilming on June 4, 1958 as part of the Norden Club project on the history of Scandinavians in Nebraska.
