SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE



This collection consists of one reel of microfilm containing two typed manuscripts:  1) “A short biographical sketch of the life of Mr. Daniel Freeman and that of his wife, Mrs. Louisa (Smith) Freeman,” by Charles J. Freeman, 1958; and 2) “As I remember things, and some old landmarks when I was a kid in 1890 and later years,” by Alva T. Anderson, 1960.  The material in this collection relates to the early history of Dawson County, Nebraska.
